Ayodya Resort Bali certified by TUV Rheinland Indonesia

After undergoing a process of a rigorous technical audit affirming the Resort’s successful compliance to ecologically sustainable standards over a wide range of the hotel’s operations, Ayodya Resort Bali has confirmed its certification by TUV Rheinland Indonesia.

Munich/Bali, July 26, 2017: The eco-friendly 537-room Ayodya Resort Bali is a Bali heritage five-star property located in Nusa Dua. The independent certification process requires hotels to demonstrate an active eco-management system imposing sustainable standards covering the areas of safety, security and service quality. Ayodya Resort Bali is TUV certified

At the core of the Resort’s commitment to sustainable practice, is the responsibility to reuse, reduce and recycle in order to minimise the footprint of the Island’s tourism industry. The Ayodya Resort Bali’s Green Team provides continuing monitoring to meet the exacting benchmarks set by TUV Rheinland Indonesia, while seeking new ways to engage the local community, staff and guests in the shared careful stewardship of the planet.

An important part of the Ayodya Resort Bali’s eco-management is an emphasis on green building practice that now sees the hotel with more than 85% of repair and maintenance programs and materials sourced locally. The luxury rooms and suites at the hotel now offer natural ventilation and light via the use of large glass windows. A surrounding parameter of large trees provides cooling sunshade for the hotel. Electrical consumption is reduced by using LED and energy-saving lighting and by devising energy-saving key-card slots to reduce electrical consumption whenever a room is unoccupied.
