Sam’s Tours Palau accepts PADI referrals and offers e-learning

Koror/Dusseldorf, January 21, 2012 – Divers in Palau prefer to spend their time in the water instead of classrooms. With modern teaching facilities and methods, Sam’s Tours Palau supports their wish to make the best use of their time in paradise.

The pristine waters of Palau are a divers’ paradise: Intact soft corals, large school of colorful reef fish, top apex predators and mysterious wrecks from WWII are waiting to be discovered. Many guests arrive in Palau ready to jump into the warm waters of the Pacific but are not certified to dive. Often they decide to learn to dive after a day or snorkeling or listening to others dive reports at the end of each day. Of course with limited vacation time, the idea of spending time in a classroom is not that appealing; however there are ways to maximize a vacation while learning to dive.

To save their guests the frustration of being locked away in a classroom while everyone else enjoys the tropical paradise, Sam’s Tours recommends two great ways to limit classroom time to a minimum.

PADI Open Water Referral Dives

Students who have completed the classroom and pool work for the PADI Open Water course at another PADI facility may complete their open water dives at Sam’s Tours. The course requires 4 open water dives to be completed. Students must bring documentation certifying their completion of the Open Water Course from the referral facility, which could be the local dive shop around the corner at home.

PADI eLearning

Students who are confident to learn independently and at their own pace, are encouraged to enroll for PADI’s e-learning module for the PADI Open Water Diver course. After registration, the scuba diver to be has one year to complete the interactive modules and then only needs to complete five confined water dives and four open water training dives with an instructor from Sam’s Tours.
